För andra året erbjuder Skap fyra platser till Drivkraft – The Release Plan som är en internationell onlinekurs för musikskapare i alla åldrar, med fokus på allt du behöver när du släpper ny musik.
Skap erbjuder fyra helt kostnadsfria platser till en internationell onlineutbildning som avslutas med ett camp i Köpenhamn. Under kursen Drivkraft – The Release Plan som är 3 ½ månader lång och drivs av vår danska systerorganisation Autor, blir du uppdaterad om hur du planerar, kommunicerar, distribuerar och hanterar ditt musiksläpp. Musikskapare i alla åldrar, kön och genrer kan ansöka om en plats i ett av våra Drivkraft-team som leds av den erfarna coachen och projektledaren Cecilia Krill.
Utbildningen börjar i oktober 2023 och deltagarna bjuds in till en tvådagars liveträff i Köpenhamn i januari 2024 för att slutföra kurserna.
Utbildningen är på engelska, helt kostnadsfri och inkluderar även kost och logi under träffen i Köpenhamn. Du bokar din egen resa dit men Skap ersätter dig för resekostnaden vid inskickat kvitto. Du ansöker direkt hos Autor som utser vilka som får en plats. Runt den 20 september får de sökanden besked om antagning.

Drivkraft – The release plan is an international online course for music creators of all ages, focusing on everything you need when releasing new music.
Drivkraft is a 3 ½ month international online course from October 2023 to January 2024, where you will be motivated and activated to release your music together with colleagues from all over Europe.
The course is primarily online, but it ends with a physical camp in early January 2023 in Copenhagen. A total of 36 music creators from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands and Iceland are participating in the project. Music creators of all ages and within all genres can apply.

An international network and tools for your publication
Drivkraft has two main goals:
- To give the participants tools to promote their own careers -and to get better at publishing their own music.
- To create a creative community across borders based on trust, motivation and strength: An international network of colleagues who can help you along the way.
The 36 participants from five different countries are divided into 3 teams of 12 people, which meet online once a week. over the course of 3 1/2 months, the participants, together with several other composers, get concrete tools for:
- Planning/structure
- Communication (press release, storytelling, contact with journalists, e-mail lists)
- Social media (strategy, content)
- Digital distribution, contactwith streaming sites
- Building/expanding the fan base
- Finances as a freelance musician
The main teacher at Drivkraft is Cecilia Krill, who has a master in learning & change processes, coach, facilitator, and author. There will also be external presenters as part of the course.

Community is key
All these elements are important, but the most important thing is to have some people who can help you in the process and give good advice. That’s why the community is a big part of the project: to have a space where you can talk to other musicians and composers from a number of different countries.
The entire course ends with a live workshop in Copenhagen on 26-27. January 2024 for all participants, where there will be workshops, knowledge sharing and social events. Our goal for this project is to strengthen the project management skills of a lot of songwriters and independent musicians and to give everyone who participates an international network.
The practical stuff
- The course is 2 hour Zoom meetings each week –most of the course is centered around your team of 12 people, but the joint online workshops will include all 36 participants online. You are expected to attend the entire session, and if you need to cancel one or two sessions, please make sure to let your team know in advance.
- The application deadline is 15 September 2023, and we will inform everyone if they have joined the course by 20 September at the latest.
- We aim to recruit mixed, both in terms of age, gender, geography, genre, ethnicity and sexuality.
- The sessions take place in English.
- The live workshop will take place in Copenhagen on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th January 2024. We plan to meet on Friday morning and afternoon for workshops and talks followed by social events in the evening. Saturday is for workshops that end in the late afternoon.

Time schedule
The propulsion release plan extends over three and a half months from October 2023 to January 2024. The course consists of weekly online teaching sessions, including workshops across the board with professional input from relevant industry people.
