The Creators Conference
- the first international conference in Sweden arranged by the creators themselves and their professional organisations.
The idea for the event was conceived by SKAP (the Swedish Society of Popular Music Composers) as a means of highlighting the situation of the creators as regards copyright, the future of the industry and technology in a solution-orientated way.
Music users willing to pay for legal file sharing
Almost nine out of ten music users on the Internet - 86.2 percent - have expressed a willingness to pay for a voluntary subscription legally entitling them to file share music.
